The Young Ones competition is one of the most acclaimed advertising, interactive and design student competitions. It has a tradition of excellence dating back to 1986.
Bio
My father was born just south of Tillamook County, Oregon. Thirty something years later, he made the difficult decision to move far away to just north of Tillamook county to provide a better life for his family. Now, Tillamook County is famous for one thing, and one thing only, and that’s their cheese. I hope to change that. I love cheese. I love cinematography. As I child, I loved drawing, writing, and imagining stories that reached far beyond what I was capable of making. That is, at the time. As I moved into my teen years, I discovered a passion for cameras. All things camera. I was fascinated by how they worked and how different lenses create different looks. The way still and motion photography told stories encapsulated me. As time drew on, I knew that I needed to express my voice, not in words, but through emotions told by the imagery of the world. I'm a director of photography, I can only see the world through the lens of a camera. I'm going take what I thought was only a wonder as a child, and make my reality into those dreams.
