Young Ones Student Awards
The Young Ones competition is one of the most acclaimed advertising, interactive and design student competitions. It has a tradition of excellence dating back to 1986.
TU HAO WEI

























Bio
Tu Hao-wei is studying for a master's degree in the Department of Design, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, specializing in graphic design, packaging, visual communication. He has been in the design field for 9 years now.
Hao-wei is strongly influenced by the Eastern culture as he has lived in Taiwan since he was born. He constantly thinks about how to bring stories of his own culture into his projects, such as using Oracle or traditionally royal patterns as features of his projects. Chinese typography is also one of the areas that he is deeply interested in.
His current supervisor is professor Lee Ken-tsai, and Hao-wei is a design course assistant.
Hao-wei's works have been honored by The Young Ones ADC three times and the Red Dot Communication Design Award four times.
In addition, his work has been published four times in Communication Art Magazine as well as several special issues and yearbooks. His works have been exhibited in Taiwan, Macau, Germany, Japan, and Poland. Such as: Lahti International Poster Triennial, JAGDA International Student Poster Award, and Ministry of Culture Cultural Assets Creative Design Exhibition.
Haowei is the designer of the D&AD Exhibition and the Curatorial Team member of the Type Directors Club annual Exhibition in Taiwan.
Hao-wei has made a speech at Tsing Hua University Tzaiwu Graphic & Visual Design group in Taiwan. Moreover, his thesis was published at the Interdisciplinary Innovation Design Conference International 2022.
