Since 2022, America has lived in its first ever blood crisis. Across the country, blood supplies are running critically low and there's been little-to-no improvement. To both fix this and build hype, Diablo IV will be partnering with America's Blood Centers to create The Church of Lilith.

Our congregation will transform churches and cathedrals across the country into "ritual sites," where willing participants will "sacrifice" their own blood to save lives. In the first round of these sacrifices, participants (donors and volunteers alike) will gain a one week early access code to the bloodiest game of 2023. These sacrifices will continue in the following months, with each round granting new and exclusive gear, weapons, and buffs.

Through this action, we'll welcome returning players to a familiar face, as well as introduce new players to a franchise that hasn't had a mainline entry in over 10 years. It will also provide gamers and non-gamers alike a Diablo-fied version of blood donation, creating an atmosphere that is less clinical, and more fantastical.

Along with our main takeovers of churches and cathedrals, we'll also have OOH across the nation, urging Americans to make their sacrifice to Lilith. And for those who don't live near participating centers, we're sending a fleet of donation vans to small towns across the country so no vein goes untapped.

With this action, Diablo IV will quite literally save lives. This altruistic endeavor, juxtaposed with an otherwise violent and bloodthirsty game, will bring unprecedented attention to a franchise that has laid dormant for a decade, and have players and non-players praising both Diablo IV and Lilith for years to come.
