The ability to feel love, angst, anger, and happiness is all but not limited to the human population. The animals we share this planet with are not far from who we are as a species.
Compassion, teamwork, cooperation, and even battles amongst each other exist in the animal kingdom in the same ways that we encounter them on a daily basis as people. Life has turned its back on the world that reaches beyond our own emotional state. It is no longer an ecosystem problem, but one that is egotistical ever since the power of humans has incorporated itself onto the world.

Other species' struggles seem different from our own because we have little in common:
Everyone doesn’t have a 9-to-5.
Everyone doesn’t have to hunt for their food.
Everyone doesn’t have to avoid commercial hunting.
But everyone has a mom.
The concept of motherhood is simple but the emotions are endlessly complex. This mothers day we will challenge the way people traditionally think about other species by highlighting the human-like emotional depth these animals possess.
