The Young Ones competition is one of the most acclaimed advertising, interactive and design student competitions. It has a tradition of excellence dating back to 1986.
Monotype presents #NotWithMyType, an initiative that empowers the creative community to reclaim control over their typefaces. Through a simple adjustment in code, we were able to replace the N-word with an asterisk in our typefaces and relaunch them with this change.
To make the tool available for everyone we created an online platform where users, designers, and brands can also upload their typefaces and download a processed version of it, giving them the power to take a stand against hate speech.
