Kash Sree • Creative Director

Though raised and educated in England, Kash was actually born in Singapore leaving before he was a year old.

Armed with a graphic design degree from Kent Institute of Design he got his first advertising job as a writer/art director at O&M London in 1991

In 1992 he went Singapore to join Chiat as an Art Director.

In early 93, the Singapore government decided he should join the Army, thus forcing him to leave the air-conditioned island to the less consistently air-conditioned offices of O&M, Madras. In his 6 months there, as an art director, Kash did nationally awarded work for Ponds and the Hindu Business Line.

1994, saw the Army situation resolved in Singapore, Jim Aitchison hired Kash at Batey Ads, Singapore as a writer instead of art director, thus doing Kash one of the biggest favors of his career and saving the world from some atrocious art direction.

His career quickly flourished and by 1996 he had helped Batey Ads became both Singapore and South East Asia's "Agency of The Year" and Kash, the second most awarded writer in Asia.

That year he joined DDB Sydney as Head of Copy. where he helped them become Campaign Brief's "Agency of The Year" the very next year.

Then came five years at Wieden & Kennedy, Portland where kash did some of his most notable work including the Cannes Grand Prix winning Nike "Tag" and the Emmy winning Nike "Move" commercials.

He then spent two and a half years at Leo Burnett Chicago as an SVP Creative Director where he did the "Who are you?" campaign for Nintendo.

In July 2005, he joined BBH New York as a Group Creative Director where he helped reposition and turn around the ailing Vaseline brand globally, helped pitch and win Dyson North America, and OMO Detergents worldwide. He also worked on All detergent, Axe, Levi's and British Airways.

In 2007 he joined JWT, New York as an Executive Creative Director working on the Diamond Trading Company, Sunsilk, Kleenex, Viva and Scott paper towels as well as pitching and winning Jose Cuervo, and Microsoft.

In 2009 he joined Pereira O'Dell as the ECD of San Francisco and to open up their New York office. By the time he left in 2011 they were AD Age's "Small Agency of The Year".

In 2011, he joined SS+K as partner and CCO. In the year he was there he helped the agency increase its billings by 24% and win its first awards in nearly a decade.
