Prof. Eduard Čehovin, graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Department of Graphic Design, Graphic Communication and Typography, Belgrade, Serbia. Spent a year at Buffalo University and at the Parsons School of Design as fellowship holder of the IREX - International Research and Exchanges Board, USA.
Got almost all major prestigious International awards in the field of Visual Communication, such as: Type Directors Club Award (TDC), Art Directors Club Award (ADC), Graphis Annuals Awards, USA; D&AD, UK. Works are published in all major International design publications such as: Graphis Annuals, Communications Arts, Print, HOW, Visible Language, Typo Directors Club Annual, Art Directors Club Annual, USA; Novum, Germany; Etapes, France, etc. and are exhibited in Australia, Canada, Europe, Japan, Taiwan and USA.
He is a member of TDC-Type Directors Club.
Works are included in permanent design collection of The Chicago Athenaeum Museum, USA; Museum of Design (Poster Collection), Switzerland and etc.
Gave lectures and wrote articles about visual communication design and was also a member of several international design juries.
Teaches on BA and MA level, Graphic Design and Interactive Design at Visual Communication Department of Academy of Fine Arts and Design at Ljubljana University, Slovenia.
