Janet Esquirol Sylvan is a Creative Director and devoted Educator. Professional background includes full service ad campaigns for national clients and art direction for weekly publications. Janet began teaching at Parsons and other NYC colleges in 2003. In 2013 Prof. Esquirol joined the Media Arts and Technology Department at CUNY BMCC. She has been a successful grant writer and an invited speaker for events including the FATE conference and AIGA:DEC. She has also been Creative Director of TEDxFultonStreet since 2014, which produced 70+ TED Talks and gained 2M+ views.
