Richard Wilde has taught for years at many universities. He is currently the founder and chairman of the BFA Design and BFA Advertising Programs, School of Visual Arts and has been doing that since 1971.

He also has professional experience of over fifty years with Pratt Publications, Daniel and Charles Advertising Agency, Visual Arts Press, Ryan Drossman MARC USA, Magical Monkey Design Firm, and Wilde Design.

He has written books, won awards and is a board member for several clubs and organizations.
