Hanna Wittmark have worked at GS&P for eight years on high-caliber brands like Comcast, Common Sense Media, Frito-Lay, Adobe, Chrysler, Nintendo, and the Ad Council and helped GS&P land two of its biggest accounts, Pepsi and Liberty Mutual, in 2017. Her Scandinavian upbringing has given her an unstoppable eye with an attention to detail that would drive any line producer crazy.

“Hanna’s work transcends media. Whether creating the first emoji for a social cause or getting people to put down their mobile devices at the dinner table, her work is always rooted in humanity,” said Margaret Johnson, CCO, GS&P. “Given her success in eight short years, I’m excited for what the future holds.”

For the Ad Council, Hanna and her creative partner created the first official emoji tied to a social cause that lives on every phone in the world, providing kids with a tool to combat cyber bullying. The campaign not only brought together all of Silicon Valley, it also garnered the attention of national news outlets like Wired, Tech Crunch, Washington Post, NPR and Buzzfeed, as well as receiving a gold and two silver Cannes Lions. The campaign and accompanying film won a gold and two silver Cannes Lions, a yellow pencil at the D&AD, awards at the ADC, and two wins and four shortlists at the AICPs. Hanna has also created work for Adobe’s “Do You Know What Your Marketing Is Doing?” campaign, producing spots showing everything from illicit social clout dealings in “Mean Streets” to a failure to launch by way of data in “The Launch.”

The passions she and her creative partner have for comedy and altruism recently came together in the form of a series of PSA’s for media think tank, Common Sense Media’s #DeviceFreeDinner initiative. The PSA’s were praised in publications like Esquire Magazine as well as featured on popular morning talk show, The Today Show and went “Immortal” on Funny or Die. They’ve been awarded a Bronze in Film Craft in Cannes, awarded at the One Show and shortlisted at the AICP Awards.

Most recently Hanna was named one of the Next Creative Leaders by the One Club and 3% Movement with her creative partner, the first female team to do so. And in 2017, they were promoted to Associate Creative Directors, the first female ACD team since Margaret Johnson.
