Elsa is an independent art director with experience across many disciplines, threaded by a singular focus in conceptual, visual storytelling. Her career path started with a role in book cover design at Penguin Books, followed by roles in digital design, advertising, and brand creative. Her journey through the varied creative terrains led her to a series of roles in the startup world, working as an art director for brands such as Harry’s, Wealthsimple, and Away. Since 2019, she has been an independent creative, taking on projects of all sizes—from launching new consumer brands to extended projects at Facebook and Apple. After 16 years of living in New York City, she has recently relocated to Stockholm, Sweden and now happily resides under the roof of a 400-year-old house, working as a contract Senior Art Director at Spotify.
