3 col. x 10" newspaper print ad template. This ad, designed to increase classified ad sales, was provided to Gannett-owned local newspapers. Each newspaper customizes the green indicators on the ad with local information and prints locally. One piece in a campaign that includes billboards, rack cards, t-shirt, radio, and other media.
Objective
The objective of this campaign was to help our clients, the 90 Gannett-owned newspapers, compete in the classifieds arena against Craig’s List, EBAY and other national players. Our campaign highlights the advantages of buying and selling locally: you don’t pay for shipping, you tend to get paid fast, plus you can see the items, not just a photo, before you pay for them. It’s a friendlier, more personal way of doing business. Hence our tagline: “Where neighbors deal with neighbors.”
