Drive-thru Yard signs / Taco Bell

Submitted By John Halligan

Description

This campaign is part of a South Carolina Taco Bell franchisee’s mission to make sure everyone who
wants to vote in this year’s presidential election can. The combination of voting and tacos
is at first a startling one, but ultimately a very American idea.

This particular piece is a set of lawn signs designed to be placed in sequence of a Taco Bell drive-thru.

Objective

The objective is simple: to get as many registered to vote as possible. Also to get people, who
previously were not involved, to ask questions and get involved in the election as a whole.

Technical Challenge

The main challenge was getting the approval of government and corporate people. In the end
though, all were intrigued by the unlikely combination and excited by it’s possibilities.
And of course, a very small budget.
