How do agencies and brands create culture? The Creative Summit invites you to hear, share, and learn from some of the top industry tastemakers that are setting trends and shaping everything from internal culture to pop culture. Through keynotes, panel discussions, and workshops, you'll find out firsthand how brands and agencies can tackle the challenge of staying ahead of culture in the digital world.

Geared toward agency creatives and designers, the third annual Creative Summit will include speaking sessions from top brand executives and in-house agency creatives, all centered on the theme of "How to Create Culture." In addition to providing insight into the creative aspects of culture, these conversations will shed light on gender equality, inclusion and diversity, and other relevant industry issues.

This year's Creative Summit will run alongside a separate Design Workshop led by award-winning designers, illustrators, and filmmakers.

What's a Creative Summit without a little creativity? Please join us in the Creative Summit Library for engaging, hands-on workshops led by Young Guns-winning designers, illustrators and filmmakers. These sessions are for all levels of professionals, and will get you out of your shell and rediscovering your inner artist — and really, isn't that the reason why we got into this crazy industry to begin with?

10:00 - 11:15 am

Amber Vittoria
"How To Under-Analyze"
Ever start to strive for an unrealistic 'perfection' within a project and need to break out of your funk? NYC-based illustrator and Young Guns 15 winner Amber Vittoria feels you. During this workshop, she will take you through her favorite exercises on how to break out of said mindset, embrace the unknown while creating, and enjoy the process. From creating group illustrations to practicing self-portraiture, this workshop will help you enjoy the the unexpected while working on projects.

11:30 - 12:45 pm

Zipeng Zhu
"On The Grid"
Love colors? Love shapes? Love things to be bright and exciting but also organized and balanced? Acclaimed designer, Young Guns 13 winner and Dazzle Queen Zipeng Zhu is going to teach you all his tricks on how to bring razzle dazzle to your patterns using just paper.

12:45 - 1:30 pm

1:30 - 2:40 pm

Gabriel Shalom
"Schmoozing Like A Creative"
Traditional networking is broken. We can do better than asking “so what do you do?” to random strangers with cocktails in their hands. This hands-on workshop, led by artist, director, composer and Young Guns 12 winner Gabriel Shalom, will introduce two simple networking techniques, field-tested in the wilds of the anarchic Berlin creative scene, which result in deeper conversations and more meaningful connections.

2:50 - 4:00 pm

Pablo Delcan
A brief introduction to a graphic designer's process. Using simple collage techniques we'll explore how to combine typography, illustration and photography to create distinct images.
