Leave your physical books at home, because you’ll be presenting your work just like you would in an agency. Then, the ad agency pro leading your session will dive deep into your portfolio and lead the group in a working session to identify what’s working, what could be improved, and give you actionable insights on how to make those changes right there in the room. You’ll feel what it’s like to present your work in an agency setting, get some practice giving feedback to other people’s work, and best of all you’ll leave with a better book. Plus, at the end of the event we’ll give away cash prizes for Best Copywriting, Best Design, and Best Idea. It’s a crash course in the creative process that will get your portfolio looking smarter and better than it ever has before.
6 students of the same discipline (copywriting, art direction, content creation and design) are paired with a working agency professional from some of the top shops in the country.
6:00pm-8:00pm: Brainstorming session agency leaders (Zoom breakout rooms)
8:00-8:30pm: "Building your Book" with Heather Vanisko, Co-Founder, Education Director, Denver Ad School & Kara Taylor Managing Director, USA, FBI Talent Co.
8:30-9pm: Q&A with agency recruiters
Open to all students enrolled in a design or advertising program.
