What is beauty and how does it impact our daily lives? In conjunction with the release of Sagmeister & Walsh: Beauty, The One Club For Creativity is pleased to welcome to its Gallery the internationally celebrated Austrian-born designer, art director and inaugural Young Guns winner Stefan Sagmeister! Stefan — whose clients include the Rolling Stones, the Talking Heads, Lou Reed, and the Guggenheim Museum, among many others — will present case studies from philosophy, art, history, graphic design, and psychology to examine why we are drawn to beauty and how it influences the way we feel and behave. From reduced crime rates on New York's Highline, to friendlier Twitter posts tagged in state-of-the-art airports, Sagmeister shows us why beauty matters and how it can improve the world.

Stefan will also be autographing copies of his new book, Sagmeister & Walsh: Beauty, which attendees may purchase with their ticket. This book is a great edition to any creative's bookshelf or coffee table, and an autographed copy would make a fantastic present for the designere on your holiday shopping list.
