The One Club for Creativity and Work & Co are excited to celebrate International Women’s Day 2020 with an evening of inspiration and empowerment by giving recognition to women behind outstanding creative work across advertising, design and tech.
Four talented women will share their notable work and creative process, talk about overcoming challenges and obstacles in their respective roles and share advice on how they got their ideas and their voices heard. Join us for an inspiring evening full of tweetable insights, libations, snacks and exciting networking opportunities.
Amber Venerable - Visuals Director at Condé Nast
Hear about Amber's work on extraordinary SELF Magazine cover features for Taraji P. Henson, Mary J. Blige, Laverne Cox and Tess Holliday. Amber will also share the Black Maternity Mortality package and cover featuring Olympian Allyson Felix.
Marie Ronn - Group Creative Director at Spotify
Marie will discuss her work on some of the top award-winning Spotify campaigns.
Sherina Florence - Creative Director at Ogilvy
Sherina will share her work on #Standfast, an incredible film depicting rapper Mos Def being force-fed, using standard procedures employed in Guantanamo Bay against prisoners on hunger strike; as well as the Beats By Dre "Anthony Joshua Will Be Heard" campaign.
Aleks Gryczon - Design Director at Work & Co
Aleks will share her work on a range of clients including Addition Elle, Airbnb, Apple, Etsy, Planned Parenthood, and Breastcancer.org.
