She crushes on midcentury mod, is a Chicago native, and a former latch-key kid turned art director.

Amanda is a concept-driven creative, hustling where heart and mind hook up.
Driven to create inclusive, authentic, and human-centered work.
She's passionate about elevating diversity and inclusion, to move equality and equity forward in the advertising industry.

Mentorship sparks joy for Amanda. She's an active member of 100 Roses from Concrete, and recently worked with multicultural students as a 2021 summer G.R.O.W.T.H. Initiative moderator. Early in her career, Amanda forged 5 successful years in pharma advertising launching and rebranding drugs with innovative mechanisms of action and impactful curative abilities, client-side, and agency-side.Named a Pharmaceutical Executive Ad Star, awarded Rx Club Silver, Rx Club Award of Excellence, The Global Awards, and Medical Marketing Association IN-AWE Gold.

Amanda's 10+ years of freelance experience spans consumer, b2b, consumer, academia, and nonprofit. She touched brands such as Xfinity, Midol, Aldi, Allstate, and Citibank with gigs at agencies such as Burrell, Critical Mass, Dentsu, Energy BBDO, Havas, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy, and OLIVER.

As an Instructor at the Chicago Portfolio School, she loves teaching emerging art directors how to hone their craft and level up their ideas with thoughtful design.

Achievements include Drum Awards Finalist, PRINT Regional Design Annual, Graphis Design, Graphis Poster, 3% Conference Freelancer Award, GDUSA American Graphic Design Awards, GDUSA Digital Print Cover Honorable Mention, Amplifier's Hear Our Voice Touring Poster Exhibit, Ad Age's Creative for a Cause Finalist, HOW Promotion & Marketing Design Award, and Big Ad Gig Winner. Non-profit pro bono work for Children Home + Aid, Kohl Children's Museum, Blue Bear School of Music, and We All Code. Helped packed 125,000 meals as a volunteer for Feed My Starving Children.

Amanda now resides brand side as an Associate Creative Director at The Point, Guaranteed Rate's internal agency.
