Jeff is a Director of North America at Facebook’s Creative Shop. We partner with Sales to continually inspire our clients with a vision for their brand on Facebook and Instagram, and develop strategies and creative ideas that transform our clients' business and push the boundaries of Facebook and Instagram.

He currently oversees a team that focuses on the Financial Services, Insurance, Travel, and Politics verticals in North America in addition to overseeing all work in Canada. Since joining Facebook 7+ years ago he’s helped developed solutions for brands like American Express, Marriott, Progressive, Uber, Capital One, Apple, Spotify, Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Macy’s, Samsung, Unilever, and Visa.

Prior to joining Facebook, Jeff spent 7 years in strategic planning at MediaVest, where he developed integrated media and marketing programs for Walmart, Starwood, Mars, and Comcast among others. While at MediaVest Jeff also worked in Business Development & Marketing, where he developed and managed the strategic content for new business pitches, resulting in over $2BN dollars in new billings on clients including Walmart, Comcast, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Jeff holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and a BA from Boston College.

THANK YOU!

We want to thank everyone who made Here Are All The Black People 2018 happen! This year's event was an amazing success, with the biggest turnout of agencies and attendees to date.

Many feel that events like HAATBP pay lip service to the topic of diversity, but we are committed to creating actual change within our industry. This year, we supported diverse creative talent by providing $25,000 in travel stipends for students and recent graduates to attend. HAATBP is a space for talent to be found, developed and molded, and seeing students and creative professionals advance their careers is why we do what we do!

With your support, HAATBP's programming was taken to new heights in 2018. This year's event contained 30,000 square feet of opportunity, including portfolio reviews, recruiting tables, student/entry-level workshops, mid-level/industry professional sessions, two keynote speakers, and a closing reception sponsored by Facebook. Our exclusive HAATBP kick-off reception not only had a surprise performance, but also allowed mid-level and senior staff to network and discuss important topics that impact our industry.

We can honestly say that this year, HAATBP made its largest impact to date. Thank you, and we look forward to doing it all again next year!

Best Regards,
– The One I.D. Department, Art Directors Club and One Club for Creativity Teams!

ABOUT HAATBP

"Where are all the black people?"
-Jeff Goodby to Jimmy Smith

We've come a long way from the organic question posed by advertising greats Jeff Goodby and Jimmy Smith. The highly controversial and emotional discussion between the two creatives sparked a wave of action as a response to the very serious question regarding the lack of diversity in the creative field. Immediately, The One Club for Creativity seized the opportunity to move beyond words and created action. In 2012, The One Club developed a diversity-focused event entitled “Where Are All The Black People? A Creative Career Fair.”

A few short years later, the "W” from Where Are All The Black People was removed, changing the question to an emphatic statement. Now in its seventh year, HAATBP is a highly regarded event, giving young participants numerous opportunities to interact with top creative professionals for networking, interviews, portfolio reviews and mentoring, and those with more industry experience to develop professionally and help shape the diversity conversation from within.
