A photo and video shoot staged at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., called on the talents of professional basketball players Chris Singleton of the Washington Wizards, Mario Chalmers of the Miami Heat, and Jimmer Fredette of the Sacramento Kings.
The agency captured video and photos to appear in a wide range of advertising spots, promoting the new the new Spalding 94Fifty ball and shoes and socks that are part of a licensed product range.
Ralph Frisina, creative director at Winstanley Partners, said the shoot was completed in less than 48 hours, with talent on set for just four hours. To accommodate the tight schedule, players were rotated concurrently through different sets, and shots of the new products were taken at a number of angles using Plexiglas platforms forklifted into the arena.
