For Air Max Day 2019, with the help of Nike, The Kickback & Livestock empowered youth in Toronto to give back to their communities, providing a fresh perspective to show kids that anything is possible.

Objective

We set out to create a short documentary chronicling The Kickback's initiatives on Air Max Day 2019, and all they did for underprivileged youth in Toronto. While a longer format doc is in the works, this short piece was delivered to the client as a piece of social content.

Technical Challenge

The piece was created with almost no funding, with every dollar spent on the 16mm film, and the handful of crew members that made this possible. We operated as run-and-gun as possible, trekking across the city and back 8 times in two days to capture this group's initiatives from sunrise to sunset.
