New York, NY (November 15, 2010) - The One Club announces today the formation of a development program to partner agencies, products and services with the most prestigious awards shows and educational programs in the advertising, design and interactive industries.

The One Club was formed in 1975 as The One Club for Art and Copy with a core membership of advertising creatives including art directors, copywriters and creative directors. Today, The One Club is the world's foremost non-profit organization devoted to elevating creative work in the industry. The One Club's core program began as an awards show for advertising professionals, and has grown to The One Show Festival, a week-long celebration of advertising, design, entertainment, education and interactive work, celebrated at Lincoln Center and revered world-wide.

The One Club released the film, "Art & Copy" at the 2009 Sundance Festival to rave reviews, and later aired on PBS. "Our goal with "Art & Copy" is to share the magic and the value of advertising beyond our industry – to businesses and consumers," states Mary Warlick, CEO of The One Club and Executive Producer of "Art & Copy." "With all our programs, that run year round, for creatives at the pinnacle of their careers, those considering entering the field, and all the levels in between – we are keen to partner with sponsors towards our common goals of sharing the value of our industry with wider audiences."

Heading the development program for The One Club will be Alison Davis Curry. "Alison's passion and expertise in our field will be invaluable in helping our sponsors develop programs with us to promote their good names with excellence and innovation in the field," states Kevin Swanepoel, The One Club President. "Our board is keen to move The One Club from the number one position in the U.S., to the number one position internationally, and the development program will enable us to do just that."
