This ticket is for someone who is has completed school and is actively looking for an entry level position/role. Purchase of this ticket gives the bearer access to the HAATBP Creative Career Fair, Mentoring Sessions, headshots, Choice of a Portfolio Reviews (Either am or pm session) and includes breakfast, lunch and a HAATBP Swag bag. Advance registration needed for mentoring sessions!
"Here Are All the Black People" is a creative career fair aimed at creating concrete, real world solutions to the lack of diversity in advertising creative departments.
This one-day event will include speakers, testimonials from creatives from diverse backgrounds, portfolio reviews for students and professionals and sessions with agency recruiters.
The Mentoring Sessions offer great opportunities for students to interact with creative at the top of their career. These coveted sessions will consist of groups of 60 participants along with key creative professionals who will share advice on select topics. This is a rare opportunity to get invaluable support and insight into the advertising industry.
PORTFOLIO / ONE-ON-ONE REVIEWS
The Portfolio / 1-on-1 Reviews are for attendees looking for specific portfolio feedback, or for more general career/mentoring advice. Reviewees will have the opportunity to sit for multiple mini-sessions with their choice of a range of industry professional reviewers. These face-to-face reviews are helpful in building a strong portfolio that will land you that coveted job.
LIVE TALENT PITCH
A must-see event during HAATBP is the Live Talent Pitch! Students and young professionals audition for a chance to be one of eight (8) Live Talent Pitch Participants. Each contestant will showcase his or her unique talent as an innovative way to catch the eye of the industry’s top creative professionals and tell them “Why You Should Hire Me.” All attendees are encouraged to watch and cheer-on their favorite contestant.
In the style of a true competition, a panel of judges will choose 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The first-place winner a cash prize of $500.00 and all three winners will win the opportunity to interview with the participating judging panel agencies.

To be considered a "Recent Graduate" you must have graduated from a college or university within the last 3 years. Otherwise you are NOT eligible for this stipend.
