What you'll do ...


Deliver Great Product On Time ? You will manage product lifecycle from concept to launch. You will provide leadership and direction to sourcing and design teams. You will collaborate with design, marketing, and sourcing to develop products that compliment and/or expand the current product portfolio. 


Drive Sales and Profit Growth ? You will achieve category sales and margin growth objectives in support of speed to market goals. You will identify global growth opportunities.   


Conduct Global Market Research ? You will research and analyze the global market to build a market map while addressing consumer trends. You will manage category product assortment and establish target pricing. You will act as a subject matter expert for your category. 


To make this happen, you will coordinate and facilitate sourcing meetings, brainstorming sessions, packaging and artwork briefs and line reviews.     


What you'll bring ...


Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in consumer goods; preferably giftware or home products industry with experience dealing with global retail market.


Education: Post-secondary degree or equivalent with a preference for Business, Marketing or similar program.


Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Product Management Systems with strong attention to detail and highly organized.


Entrepreneurial: You demonstrate a "no job is too small" mentality; you like to roll up your sleeves, jump in and get it done! You are a goal-oriented high achiever with a strong work ethic. You are agile and adept at working in a multi-stakeholder environment.  You appreciate the nuances of a private, non-corporate company environment.


Attitude: You have a positive attitude and adapt to changing priorities. You love product and have an appreciation for design.


Relationship Building: You encourage collaboration and are a team player who can develop and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.


Communication: You're an active listener who promotes open dialogue and facilitates decision making. You have a strong ability to write reports and business correspondence. You are prepared and confident presenting information, get to the point and handle questions adroitly.
