Production Company of the Year is awarded to the Production Company that garners the most points overall for winning entries (Pencils, Merits, Special Awards).
NOTE: Production houses within advertising agencies are not eligible for this award.

In order to receive points for the Production Company rankings, a company must meet the following:
- Production Company must not be part of an advertising agency or agency network.
- Production Company must be credited under the following credit type:

When multiple production companies meet the above requirements on the same award win, the points for that win are equally divided among those companies.
MULTIPLE AWARDS WITHIN DISCIPLINES
If the same piece of work won multiple awards within a single Discipline or in multiple Disciplines, the points for all award wins were counted towards the rankings.
