Known as the gateway to Europe’s creative community, the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 to unite and celebrate the continent’s various advertising and design associations. Headquartered in the Design Hub in Barcelona, and hosted by Spanish industry association ADG-FAD, ADCE presently supports 22 associations in 20 different countries through its various programming, including the revered ADCE Awards and Festival.
Under the umbrella of The One Club for Creativity, successes within the ADCE Awards are reflected in the scoring system of TOCC’s Global Creative Rankings; a win in one of the many national competitions opens the door to ADCE glory, and a win at ADCE stands alongside The One Show, the ADC Annual Awards, the TDC Competition and One Asia — which in turn bring more interest to the national associations.
In addition to its region-wide awards and festival, ADCE is also renowned for its year-long support of the European creative community by way of educational programs for everyone from student to senior creative talent. ADCE also spearheads many of The One Club’s initiatives on a regional level.
