23 Portfolio Night All-Stars head to New York to take on Spotify

It's that time of year again! As you may well know, this past May marked the 2019 edition of Portfolio Night, the world's biggest portfolio review for junior advertising creatives. In cities across the globe, hundreds of aspiring creatives and renowned creative directors came together for an evening of advice, mentorship and even job prospects. And beyond that incredible opportunity, one very lucky and talented individual from each venue was selected as their city's Portfolio Night All-Star, to be flown to New York City to spend a week working alongside all of the other All-Stars on a real creative brief.

And that week begins on Monday.

And for the first time ever, this year's All-Stars will be working with a global brand's in-house creative team to crack the brief, and as far as brands go, it doesn't get much cooler than music streaming giant Spotify. “Portfolio Night All-Stars has a history of engaging top young creatives from around the globe,“ says Alex Bodman, Spotify's VP and Global Executive Creative Director. "We look forward to working with this year’s winners and seeing what exciting ideas they bring.”

The All-Stars will be presented with a special creative brief on Monday, then work together in teams, bringing their different skills, cultures and worldviews to the assignment before pitching their ideas to Spotify at week's end. And while there will be a winning team, the experience of making new friends from around the world and getting some Big Apple industry connections makes every single All-Star a winner.
