About the Work
Step Into The Web is a digital entrance installation at the Mozilla headquarters in Berlin. It is inspired by Firefox, the pioneering web-browser, and the innovation the open web enables. The piece takes a real-time feed of websites and deconstructs them into their atomic html elements, such as images, headlines, buttons. These elements are translated into an ever-changing tapestry that shows the internet of any given day: Breaking News headlines, the newest tweets and photos of the day. The constantly moving image subtly guides visitors and employees into the Mozilla work spaces.
