About the Work

Popeyes chicken tastes so good because it’s marinated in Louisiana seasonings for 12 hours. But nobody knew that. So Popeyes invented the 12-Hour Drive-Thru. Fans placed orders at a remote menu board in the middle of the West Texas desert. And while Popeyes marinated their chicken, the fans drove 12 hours straight down Interstate 10 to the flagship Popeyes in New Orleans, arriving just as their meals were ready. Eighteen fans actually made the drive. And we cheered them on along the way, with a series of billboards and signage telling them how much longer they—and their chicken—had to go. In the end, they got their meal and a celebration, and we got over 150.6 million impressions.
