About the Work

This is a campaign of 14 animated spots that address the issue of staffless libraries in the Toronto Public Library system, and how the workers union (TPLWU) is trying to raise awareness of the pitfalls of eliminating staff for the purposes of cost-saving or efficiency. Each spot features a specific consequence of having no staff at a library. These are executed in an alarming yet humorous style and are meant to rally union members as well as the general public to this problem. The campaign continues to be implemented in social media as well as YouTube and is currently used to raise awareness at staff workers meetings and rallies.
