About the Work

In Japan, long working hours have become a social problem. Creators are pressured by the need to come up with ideas more efficiently in a limited amount of time. Copywriters Club Nagoya tried to solve the situation through an annual. An annual that stimulates the body,so you can come up with ideas more efficiently. We invented an annual that directly stimulates the body. The cover employs acupuncture points, commonly found in Eastern medicine, in order to activate the brain by stimulating readers' hands, legs, and back. We developed two types of covers to stimulate the feet and back.When removed and spread apart, it becomes a product that presses acupuncture points. For the feet: Place beneath desk for stimulation. For the back: Lie on it for stimulation. The design of the case is an image of Japanese garden and the reader can get calm by just looking at it. There are various parts that activate the sense of touch in your hands when you hold the book. The annual can be made more prominent on bookshelves with a three-dimensional layout that will stimulate annuals from years past and those of other publishers.
