About the Work
Kowloon Type (KLNT) is a Hong Kong type design studio founded in 2021 by typographer Julius Hui Hon Man. KLNT stands at the frontline in the industry aiming to resolve issues aroused in Chinese reading. To echo with the meticulous craftsmanship and precision found in traditional movable type printing techniques, a precisely segmented and in ratio grid was applied to the company’s stationery. To take professionalism to a next level, traditional letterpress printing was used in corporate stationery production, weaving the legacy of traditional movable type with modernity.
