About the Work

For over a year and a half, Google had been funding and consulting with a small team of scientists at Georgia Tech to create one of the most technologically advanced prosthetics ever made using AI and Google’s TensorFlow. Forward Rhythm premiered during Google’s annual I/O event on May 18th, followed by a full film and editorial launch for Global Accessibility Awareness Day on May 20th across owned channels including HPP, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Keyword in addition to paid social. We also collaborated with Pop-Up Magazine for an outdoor storytelling event in LA, SF, and NY to share this story with users and showcase Google’s intent to make products universally accessible for everyone.
