About the Work
Furphy, an Aussie beer brand that also means an unbelievable tall-tale, wanted to launch their new Crisp Lager. But to stand out in a saturated market, they themselves needed to do something truly unbelievable. Furphy created a real-life tall-tale of their own by installing a 7.8 tonne beer-truck wedged between two skyscrapers in Sydney’s CBD. Within hours, the truck had gone viral with serious pick-up in media. With over 25 million impressions (the same as Australia’s population), Furphy Crisp Lager went from unknown to the country’s most talked-about beer.
