At the foot of the six hundred year old Ming city wall there is a waste cotton mill, now being re-designed and used as a design agency and coffee shop, the new modern design concept contrasts with the past city wall and factory building. First of all, we used minimalist design language to create the main space, including the use of pure black rock slabs and stainless steel to complete the facade and coffee shop design, the office space is made of pure natural Okoume to complete the partition walls, furniture and other designs, and the top of the wall is painted with micro-cement paint; the delicate texture of the paint is blended with the natural texture of the wood. At the same time, the interior space retains the original appearance of the old steel windows, sloping roof and other parts of the plant, linking the old and the new to create a simple, powerful, green and environmentally friendly art space. The combination of old and new decoration elements seems to be a dialog between the past and the modern. It is a two-way contribution to the continuation of the city's history and culture and the modern design field.
