About the Work
太巴塱是台灣原住民阿美族中最大且最古老的部落之一，本展覽「TAFALONG 太巴塱」透過文物及神話的交織展示呈現了部落的文史脈絡。空間設計以現代化的語彙轉譯神話情景以及祖先遷徙的意象，在新落成的部落文化場域這個僅約 130 m² 的展覽空間中藉由光線結合空間的變化，創造觀展體驗的起承轉合。突破傳統單向展示文物的手法，此展覽空間將訪客也納入風景的一部分。坡地階梯在講座課程舉辦時也能作為座位區使用，訪客坐在象徵著過往祖先遷徙定居的路途上，與身旁的文物一起，聆聽關於土地的故事，又或是談論文化的進程。這樣的景像如同過去以及現在的時間軸交錯在一起，並共譜出通往未來的道路。
