About the Work
"STU Open Rio" is the world's biggest skateboarding championship that has been happening in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, since 2017. The event also celebrates the essence of the urban movement and its main spontaneous manifestations, such as music, art, and audiovisuals. The public enjoys a program of shows, exhibitions, workshops, and talks during the event.
Every year, "STU Open Rio" invites an artist to create the whole brand identity of the event, and in 2023, I was the artist invited. Besides the visual identity, I've also painted the two skateparks at Praça Duó in Rio de Janeiro.
