About the Work
Cutting-edge space technology is the culmination of human skill. Created by a tremendous number of human hands, it is the crystallization of wisdom and effort, like a giant piece of art. HUMAN ART AT THE FRONTIER is a unique combination of art and science. We created 12 pop art style graphics, each illustrating JAXA's state-of-the-art science projects. The graphics were deployed in a variety of tools including posters, calendars and tabloids. We conveyed the message that behind the frontier of space exploration lies the intense passion of flesh-and-blood human.
