About the Work
As Panic animation studio underwent a period of significant growth, we recognized the opportune moment to embark on our next strategic endeavor. Our objective was to create a captivating promotional video that would serve as a definitive representation of Panic studio's capabilities, craftsmanship, and unparalleled client service. With a keen focus on the animation process itself, we entrusted our adept production team with the task of conceptualizing and crafting an animation video.
At Panic, we constantly hear, "What's your process?" but fear putting clients to sleep with technical jargon, or worse - the dreaded explainer video. Enter Berthold, the inner spirit of Panic, taking "who we are and what we do" to another level. This loveable, unsuspecting character gets thrown into a wild tour through our animation creation universe.
Maxing out on characters, visuals, and sound effects, we dive deep into our wild style to explain how we empathetically immerse ourselves in our client's distinctive needs and tailor to that vision. Using mostly 2D, cel animation and a bit of collages and 3D, this boldly colorful and masterful visual flex features meticulous color blocking, holographic gradients, tailored sound design, and characters as diverse as our artistic abilities - all keeping the endlessly engaging tale trippy, timeless, and woke. At the same time, the quirky scripted sense of humor illustrates the Panic love language that fuels our team behind the scenes.
From our pervasive presence on social media platforms to our engaging website, editorial features, and personalized direct mail, this animation video has been seamlessly integrated to facilitate widespread outreach. It has proven instrumental in conveying our expertise, values, and creative prowess to a broader audience.
