About the Work

Monastery is a new botanical skincare brand that sources ingredients at a quality level ordinarily reserved for luxury parfumiers. Made by hand in small batches, Monastery products are known for their remarkably pure formulations and scents. Not only did we name and brand this product, Creech worked with Monastery to create a custom universal balm. This marks the first in a series of Lab Edition releases from Monastery - limited editions products based on formulation experiments by the founder, Athena Hewett. This universal balm is made with the finest grade of neroli oil, cold-pressed mango butter, hinoki extract from Japan, and Hawaiian sandalwood. Housed in a minimal aluminum tube that evokes the utilitarianism of the lab formulations, the product comes with a custom metal tube key featuring our hand-drawn Athena coin mark.
