In partnership with StreetEasy and Mother New York, we reimagined the challenges of navigating New York City’s real estate market through the lens of Renaissance-style paintings.
Capturing the beauty, drama, and triumph of finding the perfect home, we depicted familiar NYC experiences (rush hour on the subway, ferry commutes, and co-op board meetings over bagels) as hand-painted, modern masterpieces.
Each scene blended iconic New York elements like pigeons, cronuts, and Flaco the owl, with meticulous details inspired by Renaissance art. The campaign’s Easter eggs offered locals an intimate connection while emphasizing StreetEasy’s ability to guide buyers through the city’s complex real estate journey.
From subway platform displays and train car takeovers to striking murals in Brooklyn and SoHo, the campaign’s artwork stood out in the city’s sensory overload. With a 13.5% increase in brand consideration among NYC buyers and the most positive social sentiment in StreetEasy’s recent history, “Let The Journey Begin” resonated with its audience, showcasing that buying a home in New York is more than a process — it’s an epic journey worth celebrating.
