Tonje Jæger´s background spans from graphic designer to art director and creative director. She holds a degree in visual communication from Kunsthøyskolen i Oslo (Oslo Art University College) as well as a degree in art direction from Westerdals ACT. For more than 13 years she has worked for leading Scandinavian design agencies, and has been responsible for the strategic design of multiple larger Norwegian and international brands. At Scandinavian Design Group her primary focus has been on packaging and identity design. As part of McCann Nordic she also works with concept and strategy development, as well as naming processes across the creative diciplines. She is passionate about developing strong concepts and always bringing a clear dimension of responsibility to all her projects.

Additional experience includes lecturing and evaluating students´ graduate projects at Kunsthøyskolen i Oslo (Oslo Art University College), Volda University College, BI and Norges Kreative Høgskole (Norwegian Creative University College).

Tonje has been on several design jurys, and she has also won numerous awards for her work, among them Merket for God Design (Award for Design Excellence) , Visuelt, Gullblyanten, European Design Awards and Pentawards.
