Brian's illustrations have appeared on the covers and pages of over 300 publications worldwide including The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, GQ, The Nation, The village Voice, Esquire, Time Magazine, The Washington Post and Oprah Magazine. Among numerous awards, Brian's work has received multiple Gold and Silver Medals from The NYC Society of Illustrators, The New York Art Directors Club, Graphis Magazine, Promax Broadcast Design Awards, The Society of Publication Designers, the AIGA, Society of Newspaper Design, and the Association of Alternative News Weeklies. In 2004 Brian's "Worry" cover for The Nation was named #26 of the Top 40 Covers From The Past 40 Years by the American Society of Magazine Editors.
Brian lives with his wife and two sons in Marin County, CA.
