Hector Fernandez has been recognized as one of the top three advertising professionals in his country in the past years. His work has received over 500 awards during the past 25 years.
Fernandez was hired by VMLY&R on February 2016. One year later the Agency was named Agency of the Year for the first time ever.
Before VMLY&R, he was the Regional Creative Director for Publicis Mexico. During his time there, Publicis Mexico won more awards than they have in their 20 years history, winning Agency of the Year for three consecutive years at the Mexican Creative Club.
Prior to his role as Regional Creative Director, Fernandez worked at BBDO Mexico for 15 years, he helped take the agency from number fourteen to number one, turning the agency into the most successful, most awarded company in the country.
A copywriter by trade, Hector speaks Spanish, English and French.
