After working at the theater as director and stage designer Matthias started his advertising career as copywriter in 1994 at Jung von Matt in Hamburg receiving his first awards here. He went on as Creative Director to Philipp und Keuntje, before he switched to Springer & Jacoby in 2003, also as Creative Director. Since 2008 Matthias has been partner at the Serviceplan Group, first as Managing Creative Director of Serviceplan Campaign in Munich, since 2016 as CCO of all the Serviceplan Agencies in Germany. With more than 800 national and international awards, including 25 Cannes Lions, he is one of the most highly acclaimed creatives in Germany.
