NAYON is a New York based brand established in 2022. NAYON focuses on the gender neutral
collection, taking inspiration from the bodies of both genders and translating it into innovative
avant-garde designs and elegantly constructed and deconstructed garments.
"The most important thing I want to express through my collection is harmony and coexistence of
human nature and man-made values through minimal but efficient and meticulously crafted but
functional states. The interconnection of human nature and man-made value is the zoom and
starting point of all new creation."
"Rather than a design with a conclusion already, I pursue the design that can go beyond that."
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Nayon Kim studied fashion design at the Parsons School of Design. She is the recipient of the 2021 CFDA Design Scholar Award. She has been working in fashion
industry as a stylist and also as a New York correspondent of Harper’s Bazaar Korea.
