Currently the Group Creative Director at Amazon Fashion, Christopher Martinez, leads the ideation, visual identity and execution of content for all Amazon Fashion marketing programs and initiatives. Previously he was the Design Director and Digital Creative Director for the iconic luxury retailer, Barneys New York. During his tenure he led the rebranding of all digital and print communications as executed through on/off-line marketing campaigns, UX design, digital in-store activations, print catalogs, event collateral, corporate branding and social media. Prior to joining Barneys, Christopher was the Senior Art Director of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Art Director of Esquire Magazine, and a contributing designer at The New York Times Weekly Magazine, as well as London based publications Time Out and NME. Christopher’s work has been honored by The American Society of Magazine Editors, The Society of Publication Designers, The Type Directors Club, American Photography, The Art Directors Club, American Illustration, The Webby Awards, and The American Advertising Federation; his work has also appeared in numerous annuals and galleries, such as The Cooper Union Museum.
