Abeer is a writer and creative director at Citizen Relations in Toronto. Since joining in 2019, Abeer has helped bolster the agency’s creative reputation, with recognition from The One Show, Clios, and D&AD. In 2021, his team’s work on children’s hospital SickKids was named PR Campaign of the Year by Strategy Magazine, Canada’s leading marketing publication. He has done much the same over a 20-year career at independent and network agencies, from Rethink to GREY. Abeer was born in India, spent four formative years in Egypt, and has yet to take a liking to Canadian winters.
