Sofie Beier, a graphic designer and professor at the Royal Danish Academy, heads the Centre for Visibility Design. She authored the 'Type Tricks' book series and 'Reading Letters: designing for legibility'. Beier’s research focuses on understanding how different typefaces and letter shapes influence reading. She also explores the use of eye-tracking and AI to adjust typographic layouts for individual readers, improving their reading experience. She has published numerous academic papers on typeface legibility, contributing to the field's knowledge. Through her work, Beier strives to enhance legibility and optimize typographic design for readers worldwide.
