Felton Brown

Creative Director

Taylor

New York, United States

Felton Brown is a multi-talented creative whose work spans across major
mediums, including print, TV, and online. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Felton
always had a deep love for art. He attended the High School of Art & Design and
later the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where he studied Graphic Design. After
graduating, he spent several years running his own shop, developing and
delivering branded web projects for high-profile clients such as Def Jam Records,
Warner Music Group, Atlantic Records, and Virgin Records.

Having mastered digital design, Felton set his sights on a career in advertising. In
2010, he joined mcgarrybowen, where he led national ad campaigns for clients
such as Chase Bank, Marriott Hotels, and Sharp Electronics. In 2016, Felton
transitioned to McCann NY, working with clients including MGM Grand, Office
Depot, OfficeMax, Choice Hotels, Coca-Cola, and more. His passion for
advertising later brought him to Taylor PR, where he created award-winning
campaigns and activations for brands like Crown Royal and Captain Morgan.

Never far from culture, Felton followed his love for Hip-Hop by joining Dreamville,
the entertainment company founded by Hip-Hop artist J. Cole, in 2016. As Creative Director, Felton worked on multiple Grammy-nominated projects and
helped elevate the brand’s social media presence across digital platforms. His
standout creative projects, including the album art for Revenge of the Dreamers
III, received acclaim in industry publications. Most recently, he spearheaded the
Grammy-nominated album The Off-Season and its national tour. One of his album
covers was even recognized in Billboard Magazine’s ‘100 Best Album Covers of
All Time,’ a milestone his younger self could only dream of.

Felton’s professional journey is deeply connected to his commitment to
mentorship and community. As Board Chair of the BKLYN Combine, a Brooklyn
based non-profit, Felton has helped create a robust ecosystem providing critical
education, leadership, and social support programs to ambitious young people
from underserved communities.

Beyond community, Felton’s first love is art, and his second will always be Hip-Hop.
